Try your hand at water sports, waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, scuba diving and banana and ringo rides.
Rent a boat for the day or a couple of hours and visit the other local beaches of the area - Kastraki, Drepano, Vivari, Candia (Kondyli) and Iria plus the islands of the bay Coronis, Romvi & Plateia.
Tolo's main road stretches the length of the village and is lined with shops, tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafeterias. Wander along the street, sit and enjoy a coffee, a drink or a mean and watch the people go by or relax in one of the beachfront tavernas.
Nature lovers or walkers may like to walk the mountains at the back of Tolo and see the breathtaking views of the bay or the flora and fauna of the immediate area.
Nafplion was the first capital of Greece when it became independent and it is found just 10kms from Tolo. Wander around the old city with its narrow Venetian streets and overhanging balconies, take time out for a coffee or a drink in one of the many cafes or make a stop in the main square. Nafplio has a long history and as such houses numerous historical monuments, castles and museums. The Folklore Museum, newly re-opened Archaeological Museum, Military Museum, Toy Museum and the new Automobile Museum (due to open soon). A magical city with fun atmosphere day and night. The nearby beach of Nea Kios also ofers kite surfing for enthusiasts.
Take one of the daily cruises form the harbour of Tolo to the islands of Spetses, Hydra & Poros or the longer trip to Monemvasia (during the peak season only) and see some of the Greek islands.
Hire a car and explore the area at your own pace. There are many small archaeological sites and places of interest that can only be reached by car. We will be pleased to advise you and even to organise the car hire on your behalf.
Take a trip to some of the most famous archaeological areas of Greece from Tolo such as Mycenae or the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros. Take a trip down the Corinth Canal and visit the wine producers of Nemea.
Take a few hours out and visit the Karonis Ouzo Museum and see how Ouzo is made.
Spend a few hours in the countryside close by and learn how to cook traditional Greek food with home grown ingredients.
For those not bothered by travelling a little further, explore the Peloponnese which has something to offer to everyone. Mountainous regions offer nature lovers a unique experience and have snow and ski resorts during the Winter months, whilst long sandy beaches await visitors for swimming and sunbathing. Visit the archaeological sites of Byzantine Mystra, Ancient Olympia, Monemvasia, Ancient Korinth, Nemea and Kalavrita. Visit areas of natural beauty such as the Diros Caves, the Mani region and traditional old fashioned Greek villages of Kosmas, Dimitsana, Lagadia and many more.
